2. Categories;

a. Open division

  • A1.Open
  • A2. 1900 FIDE rating and below
  • A3. Junior (18 years old and below)

b. Kiddies division

  • B1. 8 years old and below
  • B2. 10 years old and below
  • B3. 12 years old and below

3. Tournament System and Time Control

  1. A 6 round Swiss system shall be used in this tournament
  2. Each player has 25 minutes to complete the game
  3. Players with out on his table assignment before in each starting of the round will be defaulted his game in that round
  4. Recording of games is not compulsory
  5. FIDE chess rule shall be applied
  6. Aribiter’s decisions are final

3. Awards

a. Cash prize : 2,000 Baht / 1,000 Baht / 500 baht

b. Each category shall receive 1st place trophy, 2nd place trophy and 3rd place trophy.

  • Direct Encounter
  • Buchholz
  • Median Buchholz 1
  • Median Buchholz 2
  • Sonneborn-berger
  • Playoff ( 5 minutes 2 games)
  • Armagedon
