The Bangkok Chess Club is pleased to announce that the 14th BCC Open will be held in the Dusit Thani Bangkok over the Songkran period, 12-19 April 2014. As the tournament has grown each year, the Dusit Thani has offered us the use of their two main ballrooms to host the event, giving us over 1600 square metres of luxurious playing space.

Ignatius Leong has announced that the 15th ASEAN+ Age-Group Chess Championships will take place in Macau, a Special Administrative Regions of the People’s Republic of China, during June 2014 (3rd-14th). Mr Leong was so impressed with Thailand’s work on the 2013 tournament that he has invited the entire team to Macau to help run next year’s tournament.
