Jirapak Chess Academy, together with Seacon Square, is holding 1st JCA CUP Chess Competition
- 17th – 18th December 2011
- Seacon Square, 3rd floor, Education Zone.
System
- Rapid Chess : 25 /10 (7 rounds); Entry Fee 200 Baht
- Blitz Chess : 5 /0 (9 rounds); Entry Fee 100 Baht
Prizes
- For Rapid system, prizes are given to top players from each age group : 10,12,14,16, and Open. Players of rank 1st, 2nd, and 3rd will receive medals; Open top players will receive both trophies and medals. However, there’s no age discrimination in the competition. All players compete together but player’s rank will be compared against those in their own age group.
- For Blitz, every player compete together and the prizes will be given to top players of rank 1st, 2nd, and 3rd without age discrimination.
Rules & Regulations
Rules applied in this competition will be in accord with JCA’s rules. Arbiter’s judgment is final.

- 11.30-12.30 : Rapid Chess – Round 2
- 12.30-13.30 : Lunch Break
- 13.30-14.30 : Rapid Chess – Round 3
- 14.30-15.30 : Rapid Chess – Round 4
- 15.30-16.30 : Rapid Chess – Round 5

- 11.00-12.00 : Rapid Chess – Round 7

- 13.00-13.30 : Registration for Blitz Chess
